ROME'S MASK SLIPS   DECOMMISSIONING PRIEST BRANDS ULSTER PROTESTANTS AS "NAZIS"

For the second time this year a prominent and influential member of the R.C. community has branded the Protestants of Ulster as being like Nazis. Despite the remarks of the Irish Republic's President Mary McAleese and the outrage caused (as detailed in our March/April edition), "Father" Alex Reid made virtually the same allegations at a meeting in the church hall of Fitzroy Presbyterian Church in front of some 200 people. We cannot help but wonder if this is how Roman Catholics in general view their Protestant neighbours. In spite of a late apology as in the case of President McAleese, these thoughts were in priest Reid's mind. The Bible clearly tells us:-

"Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh" - Matthew 12:34

Priest Reid stated:

"The reality is that the Nationalist (R.C.) community in Northern Ireland were treated almost like animals by the Unionists. They were not treated like human beings-it was like the Nazi treatmentof the Jews."

The priest said to William Frazer of the Victims group FAIR that he was from a community that should be ashamed of itself for the way it had conducted politics for sixty years just like Nazis.

Who is this loud mouth priest who dares to insult Ulster Protestants in the very precincts of Protestant Church property? He is a Redemptionist priest who, originating from the Clonard Monastery in West Belfast, was prominently associated with the so-called Peace Process and was one of the two "neutral" clerical witnesses to I.R.A. Weapons Decommissioning.

His credibility as an unbiased person was completely shattered, the Ecumenical mask slipped and old time raw and rabid Romanism showed forth with its hatred of all things Protestant and British.

Let Romewatch remind priest Reid of some facts:

The only ever progrom of Irish Jews was in Limerick in 1904 following a violent sermon by a priest, John Creagh, of Reid's own Redemptionist Order, in which he branded Jews as enemies of the R.C.Church and ritual child murderers.

How did Hitler and the Nazis come to power in Germany?

Hitler and his Nazi Party did not achieve an overall majority in the German election of 1933. They took power on 30th January that year with the help of the R.C. Zentrum (Centre Party) of Von Papen. Then on 26th March 1933 Hitler and his Nazis got the vital two thirds majority to assume dictatorial powers again with the votes of the Zentrum. Von Papen who was for a time the Pope's Privy Chamberlain states: "Nazism is a Christian Reaction against the spirit of 1789" "The Third Reich is the first power in the world not only to recognize but to put into practice the high principles of the Papacy."

Pope Pius XII had Concordats (Treaties) with both Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. His intrigues with Nazism and Fascism have caused his canonization to be delayed and the facts are well documented in the book "Hitler's Pope" available from bookshops.

Did not Mussolini and his Fascists create by the Lateran Treaty of 1929 - the Vatican City State?

When Czechoslovakia was dismembered by Hitler and the Nazis in 1938 a puppet state of Slovakia was set up under the rule of an R.C. priest "Father Tiso" who declared that:-

"Catholicism and Nazism have much in common and they work hand in hand to reform the world."

When Yugoslavia was dismembered by the Nazis in 1941 there came into being the Roman Catholic State of Croatia, where Cardinal Stepinac worked closely with the Ustashi dictator Pavelich under whose rule tens of thousands of Orthodox Christians were murdered (see our book "Spotlight on Yugoslavia" - PRICE £1.50 ).

And what about this one "Father Reid" ?

Hitler, as a boy, had a good singing voice, and on certain afternoons attended the choir school at his Catholic monastery under the tutelage of Catholic padre Bernhard Groner. On the way, young Hitler had to pass by a stone arch in which was carved the monastery's coat of arms its most prominent feature, a swastika which he admired and later used for his Nazi Party and SS.

The child Hitler was raised in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, and received his early education at a parochial school at a Benedictine monastery. He regularly attended mass in those years, and served as a choir boy. The fond dream of the youthful Adolf Hitler was to enter a seminary and eventually take holy orders to the ordained Roman Catholic priesthood.

The insane Adolf Hitler despised Protestants and Protestantism, but respected the power and organisation of the Roman Catholic institution, and indeed formed the Nazi Party along the lines of the entire Catholic institution. The cruel SS was formed along the lines of the Jesuits. Hitler said: "Providence has made me born Catholic."

Hitler's infamous political book, "Mein Kampf" is believed to have been at least in part ghost written for him by a Jesuit priest.

Did not the Vatican hide Nazi War criminals in their monasteries before smuggling them to South America on Vatican passports as exposed and documented in the book "RATLINES" (see the internet)?

Did not I.R.A. leader Sean Russell die in a Nazi German U- Boat returning from Berlin to Ireland having sought Nazi support for an uprising to force loyal Ulster under Dublin rule?

Did not Irish Prime Minister and devout R.C. Mr De Valera go personally to the German Embassy in Dublin in 1945 to sign a book of condolence when Hitler perished in his bunker in Berlin?

Of course "Father" Reid may not accept any of these stubborn facts. After all he believes the I.R.A. did not commit the Northern Bank Robbery, because they said so and he takes their word for it. At present his views on Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth fairy have not been disclosed.

On a more serious note pray that Ulster may yet be delivered from this Babylonish Church which prophecy states is "drunken with the blood of Saints and Marytrs" - Revelation 17

PERU: RC BISHOPS ACCUSED OF INCITING VIOLENCE

Two Peruvian bishops have been accused of inciting recent anti-mining protests that have left one person dead and more than 20 injured.

In late July more than 2,000 peasant farmers converged on the Rio Blanco project of London based Monterrico Metals plc, near the Ecuador border, in a bid to drive the project out. Many of the farmers walked for more than 12 days to reach the copper molybdenum project. Residents assert the project will contaminate nearby rivers in the agriculture rich Huancabamba valley.

Monsignor Daniel Turley, Bishop of Chulucanas and Francisco Muguiro Ibarra, the Jesuit apostolic vicar of Jaen sought to broker talks between farmers and company officials, but evoked the wrath of mining officials who claim the violence was instigated by the church, non government organisations and political extremists. Among others, Prime Minister Carlos Ferrero was critical and said some priests in northern Peru do not "correctly understand their role". [ENI]

PRIESTS HELD AS SUSPECTS IN KILLING OF KENYAN ROMAN CATHOLIC BISHOP

The arrest of two Roman Catholic priests in connection with the murder of the Apostolic Vicar of Isiolo diocese, Italian born Bishop Luigi Locati, has perturbed members of the clergy in the troubled area of northern Kenya. Bishop Locatiwas killed at Isiolo on 14 July, 1 week before his 77th birthday.

"It's a shame that a priest could plan the murder of a bishop who brought him up and even ordained him, I don't understand," the Rev. Barbanas Munene of Isiolo diocese told Ecumenical News International. Since Locati's killing, those who worked closely with the bishop have spoken of their fear. "If they can kill a bishop, what about us? They are dangerous." the priest added.

The police on 20 July arrested two Roman Catholic priests, the Rev. Cyril Muchia and the Rev. Peter Malley Guyo for interrogation, bringing to eight the number of suspects in police custody in connection with the murder. The police say they have almost completed the investigation noting that killers were allegedly paid 10, 000 Kenyan shillings (US$130) to carry out the assassination. The Standard, a local daily newspaper, quoted police saying the priest had differed with the bishop over a parish four wheel drive vehicle,which Locati had demanded be returned. The newspaper said the priest bought the vehicle on hire purchase and later exchanged it for a smaller one after failing to meet the instalments.

BEAUTY AND THE PRIEST

79 year old "Father Clark"

An elderly priest has been forced to resign after being caught spending the afternoon at a motel with a sexy married woman.

Monsignor Eugene Clark (79) denies accusations of a sordid affair with leggy church secretary Laura DeFilippo (46), but the priest has been named in divorce papers filed by her husband Philip.

Clark dubbed 'Father Frolic' and 'The Randy Rev' was also caught on video camera entering a motel room one afternoon with Laura and emerging a few hours later with both wearing different clothing.

The storm has become so heated that Monsignor Clark was forced to step down from his position at St Patrick's Cathedral in New York on August 11 as well as pulling the plug on his weekly programmes on a religiousTV network.

Philip DeFilippo said he grew suspicious when his wife began working late into the night at the rectory, balked at joining a family holiday at Disney World, and left instructions to call only in an emergency when Clark took her on business trips to Lisbon, Portugal and St Bart's in the Caribbean. A lawyer representing Laura denies any sexual relationship but last month a private eye videotaped Clark and Laura at a New York motel. And the DeFilippo's 14 year old daughter told police that she saw her mother kissing and sitting on Clark's lap in his hot tub. Another time, she said she discovered her mother and Clark together in a darkened room in her house.

She recalled: "I quietly turned on the lamp and found my mom and her boss together on the couch, her sitting on his lap wearing a satin teddy with her arms around him making out."

On the day Laura was caught on camera she allegedly told her husband they were going to a storage facility 30 miles away in Long Island to sort through some books. Instead, the tell-tale tape made by her husband's private eye reveals Laura picked up Clark at the rectory and had driven to the motel.

The detective said the couple made just one stop, to get fast food, and that when they got to the motel Clark gave Lauraa 'high five' hand slap "as if he had just scored a touchdown". When the couple emerged from the room six hours later they were wearing different outfits than what they had worn when checking in. Friends of Luara say her "excuse" for stopping off at the hotel was that she was feeling sleepy and unable to drive. But the detective who tailed them said "they weren't sleepy at all".

ORANGE HEIRLOOMS DESTROYED IN ATTACK

Two banners costing thousands of pounds and nine drums have been destroyed in an attack at a County Armagh Orange Hall. Sometime between a Wednesday night and Thursday morning, those behind the attack removed tiles and forced their way into the loft of Mullintur Orange hall. They then proceeded to smash the drums on to the floor of the hall. The two banners were then taken outside the isolated hall, which is situated on the Maydown Road between Killylea and Benburb, and set alight. District Master Wesley Livingstone, who spent much of the day tidying up the wreckage, said members of Mullintur LOL 150 were "both angry and disappointed". "We're a quiet rural lodge and enjoy good relations with our neighbours, however, it seems that there's always a small element intent on doing things like this," he said. '"Another hall in the district Ballyrea was completely destroyed in an arson attack about 18 months ago, but has since been rebuilt bigger and better." DUP councillor William Irwin, who visited the scene, said: "I completely condemn this attack. It is obvious that those who carried it out are intent on stirring up tensions within the community." Mullintur LOL No 150 has granted the use of the hall to the local people, who are presently using it to facilitate a computer training course.This attack will disrupt their classes. "I have had the opportunity to survey the damage and I was saddened to see that historical items, which included the lodge's own banner, have been completely destroyed. This attack will also have repercussions for the local band, as their drums have been destroyed."

Paul BerryMLA said the attack was both sinister and sectarian and "undoubtedly another attempt by republicans to destroy our Protestant heritage". It was proof that "republicans haven't finished their campaign of bitterness and hatred against our community".

SDLP Mayor of Armagh, John Campbell, joined Councillor Irwin in his condemnation of the attack. "This was an attack of wanton vandalism. No community should have to face an attack like this," he said. "The actions of the thugs responsible are not reflective of the views of the wider community in this area. I hope this is an isolated incident and I would urge people to be respectful of other people's beliefs, culture and property."
