DOES "AMERICA" MEAN "KINGDOM OF HEAVEN"?

As our American friends celebrate 4th July, we felt this article would be of interest to all our readers:-

Schools teach that the continent was named for Amerigo Vespucci, but they do not teach the meaning of his name.

Professor Miskovsky, scientist in Etymology at Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio, has brought out interesting facts about the word "America." The Latin masculine singular for "Amerigo" is 'Americus" and feminine singular is 'America" (Israel is feminine singular).

The old Gothic form (Goths were Israel) for the word 'America" was 'Amel Ric." 'Amel" means "Heaven," and "Ric" means "Kingdom " - Kingdom of Heaven. Amel Ric is still found in the German language as "Emerich, "or the modern form "Himmelreich".

Strong's Concordance gives the word "Meluwkah" for kingdom. Amelukah and Meluwkah are related. As Professor Odlum indicates the letter "l" and "r" under certain circumstances are interchangeable. Thus the Hebrew word "Meluwkah" (pronounced "mel-oo-kaw") became "Merukah", and "Amelukah" became "Amerucah" which in the Latin form is 'America."

Thus "Amel Ric," "Emerich," "Hirnmelreich," "Amerlukah, "Amerukah, " and 'America" became words for "The Kingdom of Heaven."

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

"And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice and stayed.

And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice." - 2 KINGS 13:18,19

The lesson is for all in positions of trust. When God opens the way for the accomplishment of a certain work and gives assurance of success, the chosen instrumentality must do all in his power to bring about the promised result. In proportion to the enthusiasm and perseverance with which the work is carried forward will be the success given. God can work miracles for His people only as they act their part with untiring energy. He calls for men of devotion to His work, men of moral courage, with ardent love for souls, and with a zeal that never flags. Such workers will find no task too arduous, no prospect too hopeless; they will labour on, undaunted, until apparent defeat is turned into glorious victory. Not even prison walls nor the martyr's stake beyond, will cause them to swerve from their purpose of labouring together with God for the upbuilding of His kingdom.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO BRITAIN?

Let us look at what we have become, and let us ask why? It was once said that Britain was built on coal; now we can hardly produce a bag of it, with the collapse of our mining industry. Steel production is rapidly heading for the same fate and our agriculture is literally dying on its feet, with foot and mouth disease, mad-cow disease, fowl pest and swine fever. Our fishing fleets struggle to maintain a meagre existence, their future bleak and uncertain. The majority of our shipyards have closed, our railways have become unsafe and unreliable whilst European rivals have taken over our car manufacturing industry. The National Health Service is deteriorating as are standards in our schools. Race riots rage on the streets of our cities, whilst in this loyal province of Ulster, the British Government has not only released the vilest of terrorists on our streets, but have put their political representatives into Government. It is an endless tale of unmitigated disaster and woe: and now we have a landslide victory for Tony Blair and New Labour. All we can expect is more of the same, yes and even worse. Why has all this happened? It is time we faced up to the fact that this United Kingdom has turned its back on Almighty God and His Holy Law and has chosen to embrace sin. We have rejected the Open Bible, once described as the secret of Britain's greatness. Now God's judgements are falling on backslidden Israel-Britain. Only a handful of God fearing men and women have been elected to Parliament (most of these from Ulster, the last bastion of Bible Protestantism).

The Word of God declares:-:

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule the people mourn" - PROVERBS 29:2 1

Unless this nation, once so blessed by God repents and turns to the Lord for deliverance, the present judgements will not end but will intensify. That which we have preached and proclaimed for over twenty years in this ministry is now happening before your very eyes.

HOW MIXED ARE THE BRITISH?

Britain's Foreign Secretary recently declared that the British people were a mixed and mingled people. We trust this article will set the record straight.

THE POPULATION of the United Kingdom includes various racial elements which have entered from the earliest to modern times. Yet it is also true to say that throughout what we may call the established main population one particular strain predominates, and its characteristics prevail over the length and breadth of these islands. Sir Arthur Keith, F.R.S., who died on January 7, 1955, always insisted on a proper understanding of this. It was a subject upon which he was as qualified as any to pronounce scientific opinion. President of the Anthropological Institute in 1912, he was elected Fellow of the Royal Society in 1913 and later appointed Fullerian Professor of Physiology at the Royal Institution. 'He contributed countless papers to the scientific journals which were all marked by originality and sound common sense ... [on many matters] his findings were accepted as final. He was acknowledged as a master in the science of anthropology' (The Times, 8.1.55).

'What is the Physical Difference Between a Celt and a Saxon?

In his Robert Boyle lecture, 1919, Sir Arthur asked and answered the above question:

'"That is a matter", he said, "to which I have given my attention for some years, and the results of my inquiries I will place before you as briefly as I may."

"In the audience now before me there are certain to be pure representatives of all our four nationalities: Celts and Saxons as pure as any in the country are sure to be present in any university audience. But, except for a trick of speech or, a local mannerism, the most expert anthropologist can not tell a Celt from a Saxon, or an Irishman from a Scotsman."

"There are, to be sure, certain physical types which prevail in one country more than in another, but I I do not know of any feature of the body, or any trait of the mind, or any combination of features or traits, which will permit an expert, on surveying groups of university students, to say this group is from Scotland, that from Wales, the third from Ireland and the fourth from England. In stature and colouring, in form of skull and of face, elaborate trials have revealed national differences only of the most minor kind.... As regards the shape of skull or form of bones, I do not think a practised craniologist could distinguish the skulls and bones found in an ancient Saxon cemetery in Surrey from the remains of a Celtic grave in Connemara, so much are the Celtic and Saxon types alike."

"Were we to dress one group of fishermen from the coast of Norfolk and another from the shores of Connaught in the same garb, I do not think there is an anthropologist in Europe who, by mere inspection, could tell the Irish from the English group. From the physical point of view, the Celt and Saxon are one; whatever be the source of their mutual antagonism, it does not lie in a difference of race."

THE RED HAND OF ULSTER

"And the midwife took and bound upon his hand A SCARLET THREAD and his name was called Zarah" - GENESIS 38:28

In the course of time, the seed of the Judah-Zarah line reached Ireland and became the Royal ruling head in Ulster. The crest, herald or national emblem has been ever since, THE RED HAND.

From Judah's other son Pharez, came King David, then King Zedekiah and his daughter Tea Tephi, who went to Ireland and married the Heremon of Ulster. From this marriage descended our present Royal Family.

There is an interesting link between Ulster and the United States-it is said that at least ten of the Presidents of that great land were of Ulster origin. At least 200,000 of the Scotch-Irish of Ulster sailed to American ports in the early 1700's and by the time of the Declaration of Independence not less then one in ten of the population of the colonies was of Scotch-Irish stock.

The symbol of the SCARLET THREAD is again shown in the story of Joshua, chapter 2, verse 18, in which we read of Rahab letting down the SCARLET THREAD from the window of the spies of Israel. The SCARLET CORD, the "Thin Red Line" which has been so honoured among the British people of Israel descent, down through the ages, is still the official colour of the British Government.

This is one more close tie, uniting present day Anglo-Saxon people with Israel of old.

What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to he purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me, GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH!'

Later he made this part of his famous speech at St. John's Episcopal Church in Williamsburg, Va." - Citizen's Rule Book, 15.
