We firmly uphold the great truths of the Sixteenth Century Protestant Reformation.
We teach the Historical Interpretation of Bible Prophecy and we believe in the identity of the Celto-Anglo-Saxon and related peoples as the 'Lost Tribes of Israel' - a view commonly referred to as 'British Israel'.
In view of what we believe to be a sinister and carefully crafted and orchestrated campaign by sections of the establishment media to link our Fellowship and Pastor to violent actions by what they term 'dissident loyalists', we wish to put on record:-

We condemn all acts of violence from any source against innocent people of whatever religious background they may be. |

We believe the warfare in our beloved Province is a spiritual conflict - its origins are spiritual and the solution will ultimately be spiritual. |

Whilst we remain implacably opposed to the Belfast Peace Process - along with some 29% of the population - we believe it can only be reversed by a spiritual awakening amongst our people. |

The present political situation, including the denial of civil and religious liberty to the Orangemen of Portadown by an unelected body - The Parades Commission - has a Biblical solution. |
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

In the light of this statement, further attempts to link our Fellowship and the message we preach to violence must be seen for what they are - a vicious, orchestrated campaign to silence Fundamentalist Christians and put the lives of our minister and members in jeopardy.
IRISH DRUIDS

Magi - the Latin equivalent for Druids - was used by early Irish writers and frequently by the Welsh; their synonymity in the modern mind appears to be almost entirely lost. The term "Magi" conjures up a sacred meaning, indicative of the exact opposite to that which we have been led to believe about the Druids. The Druids were, in Celtic hagiology, constantly termed "Magi". It is quite possible that the "Magi" of New Testament fame, who "departed into their own country another way" (Matthew 2:12) visited Britain on their return journey to the East. Tradition always bears a vein of truth, however fantastic; therein lies buried fact and Irish historians have reiterated all along the centuries that Conor Macnessa, King of Ulster, who died A.D. 48, was made aware by his chief Druid, Bacrach, of the happenings in Palestine at the time of the Crucifixion, this king, requiring of his Druid an explanation of the darkness that was "over the earth." (Luke 23). It is not improbable that the Druid had his information and enlightenment as to the fulfilment of prophecy from the visiting Druids or Magi from the East. It would be perfectly natural on the part of these Magi to visit Britain, the headquarters of Druidism.

OLIVER CROMWELL'S LAST PRAYER

PATRIOTISM

Resistance to oppressive laws and edicts was not merely the act of independent freemen struggling for their rights, but obedience to the high mandates of heaven."

THE NIV IS NOT GOD'S WORD
How sad it is when pastors and churches use the New International Version as though it were a Bible. Why should Christians support a ministry that uses a "Bible" which is not a Bible?
The NIV leaves out Matthew 18:11. "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost." This is the devil's act to do away with what our Lord accomplished on the cross.
The NIV deletes Acts 8:37. Here is recorded a most important confession of faith that one should make before being baptized: "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." This verse is the proof text that the eunuch was saved before he was baptized, yet the NIV omits it. Is this the kind of Bible you want for preaching in the church and over the air?
The NIV leaves out "through his blood" in Colossians 1:14. Do we want a Bible without blood?
In I John 5:13, the NIV omits the words: "...and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." One thing is sure - the NIV wants to tone down the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The NIV leaves out Acts 28:29. This is not a complete Bible. It is a version that seeks to do away with much of the Word of God. No wonder there is so much confusion today
The NIV omits John 5:4. This version is determined to water down the truth of the inspiration of the Scriptures. Is this the Bible you want your pastor to use and your children to use?
The NIV deletes Mark 11:26. Is this verse not important? Matthew 24:14 is left out, also the last sentence of Mark 6:11, as well as many other verses and words.
Are we going to allow so-called "scholars" to give us a "bible" which is not a Bible, which is not God's preserved Word?

OBITUARY - MR BERT MYERS
We were deeply saddened to learn on Good Friday of the death of our good friend Bert Myers of Shipley. Mr Myers was Convener of Pastor Campbell's Yorkshire Rallies and will be greatly missed. We send our sympathy to his dear wife Barbara and all the family at home and abroad.

WORLD RELIGIOUS NEWS ROUND UP
PROTESTANT RADIO STATIONS IN RUMANIA UNDER PRESSURE
The Rumanian Government has indicated that six stations operated by the evangelical group 'Voice of the Gospel' will not be granted broadcasting licenses when they come up for renewal. The board governing broadcast licenses will not grant new licenses to Protestant stations, but allows the orthodox Church to broadcast its events on secular radio and TV. Recently, the orthodox Church has objected strongly to the government about evangelical broadcasts.
MESSIANIC JEWS ATTACKED IN ISRAEL
A news report from Israel states,
'Assailants threw three firebombs on Sunday at a house in Moshava Migdal near the Sea of Galilee. Police speculate that the reason for the attack is that members of the house belong to a Jewish messianic sect'.
Mical and Tirtze Shevenberg and their eight children are indeed members of a Jewish messianic community. They believe Jesus and the New Testament are direct continuations of Judaism. On Sunday night somebody tried to harm them. The eldest daughter recalled,
'I heard the windows break and saw the fire spread at half past three in the morning, I called everyone and we extinguished the fire'.
The front of the family's car was also burned by a firebomb.
The Tiberias Police Commander Major Ya'akov Zigdon has ordered an investigation into the incident. However, the Shevenberg family say this is not the first time that they have been attacked: two years ago assailants cut their car's tyres.

UK PROMISE KEEPERS CHANGE NAME
Promise Keepers in the UK have changed their name to 'Men's Ministry UK'. However, they are continuing to maintain their affiliation with the US Promise Keepers group whose theology and practices have been questioned increasingly over recent years.
NEW VATICAN DEATH INQUIRY
The body of Cedric Tornay, the Swiss Guards officer, who allegedly killed his superior and his wife then took his own life, is to be exhumed, an Italian news agency said. This will allow an independent post mortem examination to be carried out amid allegations of a cover-up by the Vatican.

AUSTRALIAN MISSIONARY AND SONS MURDERED BY INDIAN HINDU FANATICS
An Australian evangelical missionary and his two sons have been killed by Hindu militants in Orissa, east of India. Graham Staines, fifty eight, and sons Timothy, eight, and Philip, ten, were burned to death as they slept in their car following a prayer meeting at which Mr Staines had preached. Mr Staines had worked with leprosy patients for more than thirty years and was secretary and treasurer of the Evangelical Missionary Society of Mayurbhanj.
The attack took place at approximately 1.00am on Saturday 23 January and appears to have been organised. It is reported that several men were involved in two groups. One group set the family's car alight while the other group blocked doors in surrounding houses to prevent rescuers from reaching the burning vehicle.
The tragedy is the most serious incident in a year of violent attacks on Christians and missionaries in particular. Militant Hindu groups have declared themselves opposed to the presence of missionary societies in the country and have even begun advertising names and addresses in a development likely to incite further violence. There have been over one hundred recorded attacks on Christians in the last two years and numerous church burning incidents.
Police acted swiftly to apprehend the culprits, arresting forty seven suspects and posting a reward for information leading to the arrest of a known individual. India's High Commissioner to Britain expressed regret for the atrocity at a recent meeting of Indian Christians in London. He endeavoured to stress that the government of India was taking all steps to maintain the rule of law and cited a survey that 74% of urban Hindu voters condemned the violent incidents.
Mr Staines' wife Gladys, and their thirteen year old daughter Esther were not with the rest of the family when they were set upon. Members of the National Volunteer Corps, political allies of the ruling BJP nationalist party, have been accused of being implicated in the murders. The Indian Prime Minister and Home Minister are both members of the BJP.

So many non-whites are streaming into Toronto, Canada, that whites are expected to become a minority in 18 months. Half of Canada's blacks and 42% of the country's non-whites live in Toronto. Over 70,000 immigrants come every year. Toronto has a higher percentage of foreign-born residents than any other city in the world.

DEATH PENALTY BITES THE DUST
The death penalty has been removed from Britain's statute books with the signing of the sixth protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights. Last year MPs voted to outlaw all capital punishment except 'in times of war or imminent threat of war'.
