Kingdom Tidings Winter 2005

As I write 2004 is drawing to a close and what a year it has been world wide, with prophetic events speeding up in Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere, but more on that later.

This has been a very busy year in the work of Open-Bible Ministries. I have addressed 123 meetings this year and not only have we maintained the regular centres of witness here in Northern Ireland but I have also travelled some ten times to mainland Britain ministering at the Orange Street Church in London and at Conferences and Regional Rallies at Wellington, Durham, Shipley, Glasgow and Edinburgh. I also made a three week evangelistic tour to North America in September/October, speaking at Toronto, Burnaby, Spokane, Atlanta and Gaffney.

We have also maintained our weekly half-hour Radio Broadcasts on Radio North and Radio Star. By the wonders of the internet I can now be heard preaching "on line" and many as far away as Australia have been able to listen and to be blessed.

I am so excited to share with you the news that we are now developing the capability of producing our own CD's. It appears that cassettes are on the way out even in new cars. We will not, of course, be eliminating cassettes as the majority of people still use them but the electronic world moves on and we must keep pace with the new technology as we seek to advance the Israel message. We have also continued our publication work, new books are in the pipeline but lack of time is holding us back and of course we continue to publish Kingdom Tidings and Rome Watch International bi-monthly.

We also ask you to pray that suitable premises would become available in the Belfast area at an affordable price, so that we can have a permanent meeting place of our own in which to worship and an office and book room to expand the work.

Tony Blair has signed up to the new European Constitution, although no Referendum has yet been held. We see Europe expand to the East to embrace 25 nations. As I write there is turmoil in the Ukraine. The Vatican is still working for a united R.C. Europe from the Atlantic shores of Portugal to the borders of Russia. Yet we see in fulfilment of Revelation 17, the horns or nations turn on the harlot (Rome). One of the Pope's best friends was rejected for a top post in the European Commission and despite their best efforts the Vatican failed to have religion written into the European Constitution.

In the Middle East we are drawn deeper into the crisis in Iraq, whilst Islamic terrorism spreads to every corner of the world. Zionist Israel remains as recalcitrant as ever as the nations are assembled for the Great Battle of the Day of God Almighty. The re-election of President George Bush brings even closer the possibility of conflict with Iran.

In the far East or Orient, Red China and Korea continue to develop their military might as the Kings of the East are gathered in fulfilment of Revelation 16. Meanwhile Africa continues to descend into chaos - ravaged by civil war, famine, an H.I.V. plague and now even swarms of locusts.

When we think all this together with the earthquakes and other natural disasters even the most blind and unheeding must surely recognize that the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

As for our own beloved Britain and Ulster, we continue to turn our face from God and walk in disobedience to the Commandments. Much of the proposed legislation outlined in the Queen's speech is in clear and open defiance of the Word of God. Mr Blunkett's proposed Hate Crimes Legislation is a clear threat to our freedom of speech, to our precious blood bought civil and religious liberties.

In the face of all of this we could become depressed and give up. However we know that God is in Control and that everything is going wrong, right on time. We will double our efforts and witness in this new year and let our motto be:

SRI LANKA NEWSPAPER CLAIMS ACTING BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER'S SUPPORT FOR BUDDHISTS AGAINST CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALISTS

The Hela Urumaya (JHU) party have launched an international campaign to win support for a proposed anti-conversion bill in Sri Lanka, and they seem to have some support.

Following a meeting with JHU activists on August 25, acting British High Commissioner Mr. Peter Hughs reportedly told the Sinhala language newspaper Divaina,

"Christian fundamentalists cause problems not only to Buddhists, but to Catholics too, and traditional religions must work together against fundamentalism".

Meanwhile, many Buddhist lay persons oppose the legislation. One message to an online forum on August 30 is typical:

"I have friends from all religions. It is disgusting to see religion [made into an issue] by some for their own sinister motives".

Church leaders fear a recent Supreme Court ruling declaring parts of the bill in violation of the constitution may create complacency among local Christians and urge foreign advocacy groups to continue their work on behalf of minority religions in Sri Lanka.

THE ANC government in SA, with its large contingent of Moslems, has become very vocal about the land grab of Iraq and Palestine, but so far have said nothing about the land grab in Zimbabwe or the stealthy land grab in South Africa.

"THE war in Iraq was conceived by 25 neo-conservative intellectuals, most of them Jewish - Perle, Wolfowitz, Feith, Kristol, Abrams, Krauthammer, etc."

"1 could give you the names of 25 people who are within a 5-block radius of this office, who, if exiled to a desert island a year and a half ago, the Iraq war would not have happened!"

The Palestinian leader died on the 11th day of the 11th month. Does this mark the FINAL HOUR for the Middle East?

Since its very beginning in the 8th century A.D., Islamic armies have periodically invaded Europe, in what they call a Holy War, or Jihad. It started when they first advanced on Constantinople but Leo stopped them there in 717 A.D.

Meanwhile in the West, Spain, Sardinia, Corsica, the Balearic Islands and Aquitaine fell to them and it was only in 732 that Charles Martel was able to defeat Abd al-Rahman's Saracens decisively at Poitiers. But it took many centuries more before the invaders were finally pushed out of Gaul and Spain. Ferdinand and Isabella expelled them in 1492; and a combined Venetian, Spanish and Papal fleet defeated the Turkish fleet in 1571. A united Europe was pivotal in their expulsion. Even today we are witnessing the effects of the Islamic Turks having penetrated to the heart of Europe when they subjugated Albania, Bulgaria, Rumania, Hungary, Greece and the Balkans and menaced Vienna many times between 1529 and 1683.

An article by Pierre Vial in Identite (Paris,March/April1990) gives explicit details of Islamic conquests ,holding ransom, pillaging and enslavement of European populations from the 9th Century AD: the Aghiabides, Sicily, Provence, Italy, Marseilles, Aries, Tarente. The arrival of the Normans was pivotal to the political and military alliance which defeated the Moslems.

(Ex-) HOME Secretary David Blunkett had announced that Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders, South Africans and Americans who want to apply for UK citizenship must first supply evidence that they can speak English!

It is presumed that this requirement has been introduced in case would-be immigrants from non-English-speaking countries who also have to take the test might complain of 'racism'.

There is reason to believe that among the highest officials of the Vatican Curia the truth of Israel has been long known, but scrupulously concealed with the deepest mystery. It is certain that the Court of Rome are bitterly, hostile to our Israelitish origin.

Some years ago they made an effort to counteract the spread of this truth. A Romish priest in Scotland published a work entitled "Ephraim the Root of the Virgin Mary". The object was to prove that Miriam (as her true name was) was descended from Ephraim, and that in consequence all the covenant birthright blessings descended upon her. These were relegated to her firstborn Son Jesus, and by Him handed on to Peter, and so descended by right to the Romish Popes. This work received the imprimatur of Cardinal Wiseman.

Thus Rome falsely puts herself in the place of Ephraim, and would tear from England all the birthright blessings. Hence her first purpose is to conquer England, knowing that there is the secret key of Providence in respect to Britain, Europe, and the world. Hence, all her vast efforts at this time to ruin and subjugate Ephraim in England.

November 30th 2004 marked the 450th anniversary of one of the saddest and most shameful days spiritually in our national history. On that day the papal legate, Reginald Pole, in a ceremony at Westminster Hall, received the submission of Queen Mary and the realm of England to the authority of the Pope. He pronounced absolution for the sin of the years of separation from Rome. He declared that the day should be remembered on its anniversary as the Feast of the Reconciliation for all eternity.

Parliament put back on the statute book the laws against heresy including the Acts decreeing the burning of heretics. Within a few weeks the first Protestants were being condemned to die at the stake.

We should thank God that all the suffering of those next few years led eventually to the continuance of the Reformation and the restoration of the Gospel to its proper place in our national life. We need a reformation today that will have a similar effect.

Several years ago, I visited Northern Ireland and, for the first time, attained a clear understanding of the situation in that distressed corner of the United Kingdom. As I learned about the Troubles in Ulster, I saw parallels to an increasingly dangerous situation in the southwest portion of the United States of America. It is impossible to share an in-depth analysis of those parallels in this short article; therefore, I will content myself with giving a brief synopsis of the similarities between the efforts to annex Ulster to the Republic of Ireland and a determined effort to annex to Mexico five of America's south-western states and portions of two more. I will leave it to the knowledgeable reader to connect the dots and make the comparisons.

The campaign to accomplish the enlargement of Mexico at America's Expense is called Reconquista, which is Spanish for Reconquest. For several decades, the border between America and Mexico has resembled a sieve; and for political reasons, the governments of both nations have refused to secure it. Mexican politicians encourage illegal immigration by their citizens into America for three main reasons. First, illegal immigrants send home money which in turn helps Mexico's economy. Second, Mexican politicians see illegal immigration to America as a way to reduce crime and poverty in Mexico. Third, most Mexican politicians hate America and back Reconquista.

When Mexican citizens in the United States commit felonies against Americans including rape, robbery, and sometimes even murder all that the criminals need to do to avoid the consequences of their acts is to slip across the border back to their home country. The Mexican government refuses to extradite suspects to the United States except in the most extraordinary cases.

Most Mexicans living in America illegally-and in some cases, even legally - consider themselves Mexicans, not Americans. In fact, in some city neighbourhoods in the border regions, one does not see American flags flying but Mexican flags.

In recent years, a number of individuals selected to political office in such American cities have been Mexicans who have attained American citizenship while retaining their Mexican citizenship. While such dual citizenship is encouraged by the Mexican government, it is not consistent with the oath of office in my nation. But it is allowed nevertheless. Thus we in essence have foreign nationals occupying government offices in the United States of America. Such individuals are unabashedly pro Reconquista and anti-American. Their loyalty is for another nation, and their goal is to annex their area of representation to that foreign nation. The shifting population demographics of the American Southwest are in favour of the neo-conquistadors. Not only are hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants pouring across the border from Mexico into the United States yearly, but the same people are having far more children than the average American couple.

Any American, who speaks out against illegal immigration or Reconquista, even if he happens to be a Black American or a Hispanic American, is immediately tagged as a racist.

The victims of what we call the alien invasion of the Southwest are law abiding, hardworking citizens. Ranchers have seen their property become trash-strewn, nocturnal highways for masses of illegals, including drug dealers and criminals. American citizens in the rural areas and towns in the border-states have been raped, robbed, kidnapped, assaulted, and murdered by illegal aliens. To protect their families' lives, citizens have installed bars on the windows of their homes and put various security devices in place, thus living in a state of siege. Some have given up and moved away, bringing joy to the hearts of those who wish to "Mexicanize" that portion of America as a precursor to successful Reconquista.

Mexican authorities are anything but concerned about this situation; in fact, there are several documented incidents in which Mexican military personnel have penetrated into American territory and even fired at American citizens. There are also thugs such as the Brown Berets who take every opportunity to intimidate and physically assault Americans who refuse to see things the Reconquista way. At the same time, in the best American tradition, a number of citizen groups have been formed to guard the property and lives of Americans from alien violence. These small, armed-citizen militias operate legally under our Constitution and cooperate with local American border patrol personnel who are caught between corrupt American and vicious Mexican officials. The Mexican government demonises these brave American citizens and calls for their arrest. Other voices, including those who celebrate when a border patrol officer is murdered, call for their death. In recent months, an American group in Arizona called Ranch Rescue has come under fire from unknown assailants, including a night time attack by a sniper team. In short, because the United States government is allowing an alien invasion by individuals who are determined to annex a part of our country to another nation, a militarization of sorts is taking place on both sides of the Reconquista divide.

While there are many other parallels between Ulster and the situation in the American Southwest other than the ones upon which I have touched briefly, here is where I want to present the most important similarity: the Roman Catholic Church is shamelessly exploiting the unfolding tragedy in America. Indeed, that church is one of the driving and sustaining forces behind that toxic and increasingly explosive situation. Rather than discourage illegal immigration and call upon the Mexican government to cleanup its corruption and to reform its misery producing ways, Roman Catholic Church leadership has blatantly supported the alien invasion of my country and, in so doing, has been an invaluable aid to the Reconquista movement while putting many of my countrymen in harm's way of that movement.

Why is this so? The answer is simple-the Roman Catholic Church has its own plan of reconquest. She is determined to re-establish the power she once exercised over the civil governments and populations of the world. The Pope, along with the Reconquista cadre, views South, Central, and North Americas as being one "from Argentina to Alaska." On several occasions, Pope John Paul II has "consecrated" this "America" to "Our Lady of Guadalupe." The Mexican people streaming across America's porous southern border are Roman Catholics. It is in the interest of the Vatican to establish as many Roman Catholics as possible in the United States of America. The Pope and his partners in spiritual crime care little how the job is done -whether illegally or legally - just so it is done.

For the sake of brevity, I will content myself with giving just one proof which conclusively convicts the Roman church as being an accessory to the increasingly dangerous situation in southwest America, just as she is an accessory to the ongoing tragedy in Ulster. On January 22, 2003, the Catholic bishops of Mexico and the United States issued "Strangers No Longer: Together on the Journey of Hope, A Pastoral Letter Concerning Migration". Revealingly, in a list of definitions accompanying the letter, there is no definition for illegal immigrant. Rather than use the illegal word, the bishops explain that the "undocumented immigrant" is a person who is called such "because they lack the required paperwork." A migrant is defined as "a person on the move."

Encouragement for illegal, Mexican immigration to America is the constant theme, both subtle and not so subtle, which runs through the many pages of the bishops' letter. The reason for this is easy enough to comprehend. Mexican "migrants" are called "bearers of faith and culture." The bishops, speaking to Mexican and American Catholics, "call upon pastors and lay leaders to ensure support for migrant and immigrant families." They "urge communities to offer migrant families hospitality, not hostility along their journey"; and they "commend church communities that have established migrant shelters." The bishops instruct Catholic church officials on both sides of the border to focus on "the needs of migrants on their journey," consider "the possibility of seminaries in Mexico to prepare priests for service in the United States," and also provide for "the assignment of religious communities to accompany migrants." In short, on January 22, 2003, the Catholic bishops of Mexico and the United States openly issued instructions for the construction of an underground railroad, complete with safe houses and guides, to funnel illegal, Roman Catholic aliens -"migrants" from Mexico into the United States.

Further, the bishops are working to set up Mexican dioceses in the United States. Among many other instructions given for this unlawful network, we find this from the bishops: "Prayer books and guides to social and religious services should be provided along the way and at the points of arrival. The migrants should be reminded of their role as evangelisers. .." There is no doubt that the Rome-equipped and Rome-assisted, illegal, Mexican immigrants are evangelisers, but not for the true gospel or the true Jesus Christ. Rather, they are evangelisers for a church which seeks to bring the whole world under the iron fist it currently has covered with a velvet glove. The Roman Catholic Church supports the Reconquista movement by its support of illegal immigration into America for the same reason that the Roman Catholic Church supports the Republican movement in Northern Ireland - it is in Rome's best interest to do so. As the bishops' statement says, "migration between our two nations is necessary and beneficial" Mexican Bishop Carios Talavera Ramirez invites us to "think of the phenomenon of migration as a road toward the unity of the human family." I hope to not be taking liberty by adding to the bishop's statement "in a one-world religion headquartered in Rome."

In their statement, the Catholic bishops of Mexico and the United States accuse the overburdened and under funded officers of the U.S. Border Patrol of "physical abuse of migrants... including the use of excessive force and the shackling of migrants' hands and feet." Perhaps the next thing that we should expect is for the papists to call for a decommissioning of the Border Patrol and their replacement by the Brown Berets.

At any rate, the moral of this story is that Rome is for Rome, not for Christ; and Rome will do what Rome must do to advance her goal of bringing all people of the world into her orbit. Remember, the Jesuits were created by the Roman Catholic Church; the Roman Catholic Church was not created by the Jesuits. The machinations and horrors of Rome's past were not aberrations but rather the true measure of her nature, a nature currently shrouded but still apparent for those with eyes to see and the courage to speak.

These messages are not given with the intention of offending Roman Catholics but rather to educate and declare the truth of the Scriptures so that many may come to know the Lord Jesus as their own personal Lord and Saviour and that the saints of God may be informed and fall short in no area.
