by Pastor Dan Gayman Let all who embrace the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matthew 24:14) note that this Gospel must be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; then shall the end of human rule be consummated. The King's Gospel must be proclaimed by every means possible. Every Christian is a minister of the King's Gospel. Jesus Christ is the victorious King; all power in heaven and earth is given to Him (Matthew 28:18). Satan holds power only where King Jesus and His Law are denied. It is the duty of every Christian and the Church in general to fight and battle Satan, the world, and sin nature to make way for the Kingship and the Law of Jesus Christ. The King's law is already present wherever men and women uphold His Word. Now we anxiously await Christ's ruling on earth! The King's subjects are all those chosen by God the Father in election (as in Ephesians 1:4,5, II Tim. 1:9, I Peter 1:1&2); by faith in Jesus Christ they are baptized and seek to live by and advance His Kingship and Law. The kingdom is present with us now. That kingdom dwells in every life and home where His covenant people live in submission to His Kingship and Law. His people have been commissioned to occupy till He retums. At a point known only by the Father, Jesus Christ will return to consummate His Kingdom here on earth. The life vision before the Church of Jesus Christ is clear. We must advance the Kingship and the Law of Jesus Christ in every realm of life. May every Christian Israelite live as a son in submission to Jesus Christ. Let every Christian home become a miniature kingdom of God where Jesus Christ is King and His law is proclaimed. Every Christian has a duty and commitment to work for and serve the King and advance His Kingdom as the highest priority of life.
Signor Prodi's Plans for World Domination For you, Tommies, the war is almost over.. Talk about "a thousand year Reich". Mr Prodi has just published a "Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, Council etc." called Strategic Objectives 2000 - 2005: Shaping the New Europe (COM(2000) 154 final). Anyone (like Mr Blair and Mr Cook) who hasn't yet realised - or affects not to have realised - what "Europe" is all about had better read this document. Inspired by Leninist philosophy and written in the strangulated lifeless English peculiar to EU officialdom, it carries echoes of the Nazi years. Some (brief) extracts from the 12 page dirge may help to give the flavour: "...Over the next decade we will complete our integration and, even more importantly, give shape to a new, political Europe. The next five years will be decisive. We are already pushing forward with political integration by establishing an area of freedom, security and justice, and by developing common foreign, security and defence policies. Our common interests and objectives are best served by a common approach and common means. Political integration will become a reality... ... What we are aiming at, therefore, is a new kind of global governance [this is straight out of Lenin - Editor] to manage the global economy and environment... ... there is hardly any sector of social and economic activity not affected by European Union policy and legislation, and where authorities in the Members States are not part and parcel of European governance. Yet people do not perceive it this way. ....Few distinguish between the institutions, most believe national and European policies are worlds apart, and all is blurred within the abstract notion of Brussels. But the truth is that 'Brussels' is all of us. ["Ein Volk, Ein Reich..." - Editor] ... European governance must provide the European Union with the means to assert itself with a single voice in the world. Yet the Union is not fully represented in international financial institutions or United Nations agencies. This anomaly needs to be corrected. [i.e. boot the UK and France off the Security Council, IMF etc, replace them with the EU - Editor]. ... We must take advantage of the new Treaty provisions and develop a genuine common foreign policy .. The Commission intends to play a full role as a political contributor in this process and not just provide technical support. ... The Commission intends to propose the creation of a truly integrated European transport area, through notably the creation of a single airspace [bang go national air traffic control organ- isations and in comes a single air force - Editor] and the development of trans-European networks... ... Europe will become more closely integrated and at the same time, the Union will embark on a Process of enlargement leading, ultimately, to the [re-] unification of our Continent". Yes folks, it's a Single European State. Ve hef been varned! But God says it will not succeed - Daniel 2 v 36 - 45
AT JESUS' FEET we must learn the art and mystery of soul winning: to live with Christ is the best education for usefulness. It is a great boon to any man to be associated with a Christian minister whose heart is on fire. The best training for a young man is that which the Vaudois pastors were wont to give, when each old man had a young man with him who talked with him whenever he went up the mountainside to preach, and lived in the house with him, and marked his prayers and saw his daily piety. This was a fine instruction. Was it not ? But it will not compare with that of the apostles who lived with Jesus himself, and were His daily companions. Matchless was the training of the twelve. No wonder that they became what they were with such a heavenly tutor to saturate them with His own spirit! And now today his bodily presence is not among us; but His spiritual power is perhaps more fully known to us than it was to those apostles in those two or three years of the Lord's corporeal presence. There be some of us to whom He is intimately near. We know more about Him than we do about our dearest earthly friend. We have never been able quite to read our friends heart in all its twistings and windings, but we know the heart of the Well Beloved. We have leaned our head upon His bosom, and have enjoyed fellowship with Him such as we could not have with any of our own kith and kin. This is the surest method of learning how to do good. World News - ('In The Last Days Perilous Times Will Come' - II Timothy 3:1) Ecumenical Leaders in India Claim That Salvation Is Not Solely Through Jesus Christ Friday News Notes, October 6, 2000 (David W Cloud, Fundamental Baptist information Service, 1701 Harns Rd., Oak Harbor, WA 98277, fbns@wayoflife.org) - When the Southern Baptist Convention published a prayer guide a few months ago that called on Baptists to pray for the conversion of Hindus, ecumenical leaders in India rose up in alarm. lpe Joseph, general secretary of the National Council of Churches in India, condemned the prayer guide and said, "We should find ecumenical space for followers of other faiths in salvation. ... Christians should stop thinking of Christianity as the religion among religions." The president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India and the general secretary of the Council of Baptist Churches in North-East India (Pastor Gulkhan Pau) also condemned the Southern Baptist prayer guide. Pau said, "You preach your faith, but don't play down others. ... I am not going to condemn the Hindu or the Muslim for his faith." This is not what we see in the Bible. The prophets of old certainly preached against idolatry and false religion, as did the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. The ecumenical leaders of India are apostate religious politicians. Episcopal Bishop Mocks Biblical Doctrines Friday News Notes, October 6, 2000 (David W. Cloud, Fundamental Baptist information Service, 1701 Harns Rd., Oak Harbor, WA 98277, fbns@wayoflife.org) - Retired Episcopal Bishop John Spong rejects the virgin birth, miracles, vicarious atonement, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Spong calls these "superstitions." He claims that prayer does not change anything. A cou- ple of months ago he said: "I do not believe that God is a being sitting above the clouds pulling strings. ... I do not believe that human beings are born evil and that only those who come to God through the 'blood of Jesus' will be saved. Modern hearts cannot worship that which modern minds reject, and I do not believe it is possible for an educated person to accept the Bible today as the literal word of God. Even if I did, I could never worship the God who is defined by many of those literal words" (Evansville Courier and Press, Evansville, IL, July 29, 2000). A man who requires that God fit the dictates of his puny mind is incredibly proud and foolish. Oslo Muslims Win Right to Broadcast Their Beliefs. Copenhagen (ENI) - For the first time ever Muslim calls for prayer can now be heard from a minaret in central Oslo, the capital of Norway. The city council in Gamle, central Oslo, where there is a mosque serving the city's Muslim community, has decided to give permission for the call to prayer to be made once a week. It will last two or three minutes at noon each Friday, according to an application submitted to the council by the Norwegian branch of the World Islamic Mission. Tutu Wants Inter Faith Censorship Former Archbishop Desmond Tutu's "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" have recommended that all religious literature in South Africa be scrutinised by an inter faith body. Desmond Tutu was formerly Archbishop of the Church of the Province of South Africa. He is a champion of homosexuals. He chairs the famous, "Truth and Reconciliation Commission". In a recom- mendation headed "Relationship with the State" the Commission affirms, "the need to ensure that all theological and religious literature be the responsibility of faith communities, provided it passes scrutiny by an inter-faith body to ensure that it does not contain derogatory material about other faiths". (Bible Based Ministries Magazine) Tutu's Commission is only saying aloud what many in other parts of the world are thinking. Similar legislation has been mooted in Australia. There are indications that the ANC, which is the Government of South Africa, wants to control the churches by placing its own people in charge of them. A law proposed in France will impose sentences for 'mental manipulation' - proselytising - by religious groups. On their proscribed list are Jehovah's Witness, Scientology, Unification Church - also Baptists and other well known groups. [ They will persecute you, delivering up to the [courts] and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake (Luke 21:12) ] Head of Anglican Church Australia Denies Biblical Christ Friday News Notes, October 6, 2000 (David W. Cloud, Fundamental Baptist Information Service, 1701 Harns Rd., Oak Harbor, WA 98277, fbns@wayoflife.org) - Peter Carnley, the new head of the Anglican Church in Australia, denies the Resurrection and Deity of Jesus Christ. Carnley, who is also Archbishop of Perth, was elected "primate" of the Anglican Church of Australia in April. In an article in The Bulletin, Carnley stated that the author of the book of Acts wrote in ignorance when he stated that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation (Acts 4:12). This is a complete denial of the divine inspiration of Scripture as well as of the Person of Christ. In 1992 Carnley ordained Australia's first women priests. The German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer demanded a hard core of committed EU states which would drive forward the federalist agenda. "...that means nothing less than a European par- liament and a European government which really do exercise legislative and executive power". He sees a common euro currency as a step on the way to full political union. The same thought has been expressed by the interim president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi. China's New Base in the Bahamas The same Chinese company that recently took operational control of the Panama Canal is currently completing construction at Freeport, Bahama Island, of the largest port in the world just 60 miles from Florida. Freeport is the closest off-shore port to the East Coast of the U.S. at the crossroads of routes between Europe and the Americas and through the Panama Canal. The company involved is known as Hutchison Whampoa, a Hong Kong firm that has a good record as a commercial enterprise and has no record of being involved in the drug or gun smuggling business. However, the firm's ties to Communist China raise some legitimate questions. Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott R-Miss., and former Defence Secretary, Casper Weinberger, have expressed concerns about the influence the firm has over the Panama Canal. (vortex) "Israel Moves Forward With Radar Sale to China," a story in the April 21 Human Events by Scott Park, reports, "The government of Israel is moving ahead with a deal to sell the People's Republic a sophisticated airborne radar system that some analysts believe could alter the balance of power in the Taiwan Strait and put U.S. forces at greater risk in any potential conflict with Beijing. "Many friends of Israel in Washington are baffled as to why a democratic nation that has such strong ties to the United States - and that receives a steady stream of military and economic aid from the United States - would militarily strengthen a Communist regime that has threatened to destroy Los Angeles should the United States interfere with a Chinese invasion of democratic Taiwan." The British Government has decided that the European Union flag can in future be flown without local authority planning permission - current regulations permit only the flying of national flags. Now, however, the EU is being re-classified as a nation. This move has been attacked by Eurosceptic M.P.'s Having Read The News 'Watch and Pray' - Mark 13:33
A Jewish Testimony to the Saying Power of British-Israel Truth I, Cyril Leach, a Jew of pure extraction, write testifying to the great light given me by British-Israel Truth, and how through this wonderful key to the Bible, I came to the belief that Jesus Christ is of a truth the Son of God and the Redeemer of Israel ... I come from a line of Rabbis on both my father's and my mother's side known far and wide in Palestine for their piety, charity and wide learning. God said to Abraham "Behold my Covenant is with thee and thou shall be the father of many nations." These and other points led me to doubt whether the Bible was after all God's Word ... I was assured that the Saxon people were a Gentile people, inferior as regards race to the Jews, and I remember asking my father "If the Jews are God's chosen people, why is such a wonderful Empire (Britain) ... doing the very work the Jews should be doing". . . One day a book was lent me, setting out what appeared to me at the time a preposterous idea, that the Saxon race is the continuation of the Northern Kingdom of Israel carried into captivity in 721 B.C. a long time before the Southern Kingdom of Judea was shattered by Babylon. I laughed at the notion that an uncircumcised people who believed in an imposter called Christ who set Himself up as the Son of God, could be the Seed of Abraham. For the first time in my life I began a most careful search of the Word of God - the acid test of all religious movements to see if there was any truth in this astounding assertion. To my intense surprise I found that prophecy after prophecy had materialised and was in the process of materialising in the Saxon people. I now saw quite clearly that it is discrediting God's Holy Name, and His reputation as a God who fulfils His promises, to assert that the Jews form the whole Seed of Israel." On the threshold of another year we would still our hearts before Thee, 0 Lord, and look up. For Thy goodness and mercy through the days that lie behind we would praise Thee, for the tokens of Thy Love which day after day come to us, for Thy forgiveness of our many sins and shortcomings, for the wonder of Thy grace in making all things work together for our good. And looking forward we seek Thy grace that we may walk humbly and trustfully in Thy way, faithful in even that which is least, sure that Thou wilt never leave us nor forsake us, but ever make good Thy word of promise that as our days so our strength shall be. So alike through the dark valley and on the bright hill-top will our path be onward and upward.
